Finaly... Good News!

It's no secret I am a huge PSP GO fan. It's my portable gaming system of choice. It's my favourite mobile browser, music, movie and photo viewer/player. Sony should start implementing the whole "it only does everything" marketing campaign for this PlayStation product as well. It's too bad many people dismiss it. I believe it boils down to the price. Sony really needs to knock it down to $199. Until, that happens the following news that hit the net, makes the system much more attractive.

The North American PlayStation Blog has just announced a great program. Starting now and ending on March 21st, if you purchase a brand new PSP GO and register it on the PSN, you'll receive a voucher of your choice of either a free copy of Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines or LittleBigPlanet. That's a 40 dollar value my friends and both titles are awesome.

In other news, SCEA Senior Vice President of Publisher Relations Rob Dyer spoke with Industry Gamers and has announced the following -

"...we still have a very robust lineup this year from third parties on the PSP, starting with Metal Gear Peace Walker. I won't go through the whole lineup because I want our third-party partners to make those announcements, but there are some big, big titles coming out this year and you'll see those announcements at GDC, DPS (Destination PlayStation) or E3."

More great news! I can't wait to see what's in store!

Check out the Sony comments page for hundreds of early adopters crying a river because they aren't getting this deal.

They got something better -- the ability to play with the PSP Go for almost 6 months before this promotion went into effect!
