Playstation Eye PC Drivers

I finally got myself a PlayStation Eye, on sale at Toys R' Us. So I'm already to play the super cute EyePet. On the flip side, I'm half-prepared for their motion controller in 2010. The process of utilizing the device for PC gaming is probably a non-reality. For use as a web cam? Why not!

Sony hasn't released any official PC drivers, however a team of awesome dudes created some. Get'em here!

Sorry, the gadget isn't PSP compatible. *sniff* :(

Kotaku Previews The PSP GO Again

I love reading these stories. The buzz on the PSP GO is so positive, I believe it's launch is going to be huge. Maybe even awesome huge... The platform is far from being a disappointment for Sony with more than 50 million PSP-1000 to 3000's sold world wide. Including the already impressive catalog, we have LittleBigPlanet, Gran Turismo, Assassin's Creed, Metal Gear Solid and a ton of more excellent exclusive titles arriving in the near future (Resident Evil, anyone?).

"...The new Sony portable felt solidly made, even when flipped open, like it could take a toss or two or be something I'd start idly flipping up and down while talking to someone on the phone. DSis and other PSPs have too much heft to spark that kind of response from me. I guess we could contact a scientist to find out why, but I'm short on time today. After my original PSP hands-on report from E3, readers asked if the system was too light. I'm not sure how a system could be too light, but I can say that the PSPgo, unlike the earlier PSPs is a machine that feels like you could forget it's in your pocket." - Stephen Totilo, Kotaku

You know it's kinda nice to hear something positive about the PSP platform from the gamer news world. It's very refreshing.

Here's the glowing word from KOTAKU.

Updated With Exclusive Content!

It's summer time, thus my game playing has been reduced. I find myself lying outside, enjoying the sun with a beer or rum and coke in hand. The only gaming I've been participating in is with my PSP, which oddly enough can be enjoyed outside as well. WOOT! ^_^

I picked up Rock Band Unplugged, which is an awesome single player, on the go experience. I highly recommend it. I dusted off my copy of Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops and began replaying it. It's a great title, not MGS4 great but awesome in it's own right. That will be remedied however with the next MGS title, being developed exclusive for the PSP.

"This game is an MGS5-class game. I am supervising, designing, producing, directing, and editing this title together with the MGS4 team. Therefore in that sense, "METAL GEAR SOLID" has not ended, and the "METAL GEAR SAGA" continues." - Hideo Kojima

That's awesome! The exclusive titles don't end there.

"Altair's Story Continues... Only On The PSP System" - Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines Trailer

Not only is that sweet, but The PlayStation Blog just announced a PSP-3000 bundle which includes the upcoming game in UMD format, a PSP-3000, an unannounced UMD movie (hmm?) and a 2GB Memory Stick PRO Duo card. Click here to check out additional information and read an interview with Ubisoft producer Frederic Lefrancois. The title and the bundle launches in November.
